Who We Serve

The placements that are hardest to make.

We support adults whose needs are more than ordinary assisted living can hold, and who do best in the smallest, calmest setting.

Complex care

Adults whose combination of needs has made placement difficult, including those returning to the community after a higher level of care.

Dementia and behavioral needs

Dementia accompanied by mood or behavioral complexity, met with structure, patience, and clinical understanding.

Developmental disabilities

Developmental disabilities with complex behavioral support needs, in a home built for individualized attention.

High-acuity support

Residents who need dedicated, awake support around the clock, with acuity authorized through Medicaid.

1:1 and 2:1 care

We are staffed and structured to provide one-to-one and two-to-one care when a resident's safety or needs require it.

Hospital and API discharges

Discharges from hospital or psychiatric care that have nowhere appropriate to go. This is exactly what we are built for.

The Category We Fill

The bridge between institutional care and ordinary assisted living

Not everyone leaving a hospital, a psychiatric unit, or a higher level of care needs another institution. Many need a real home that can still hold complex needs. That step is missing in the Valley, and The Renaissance is built to be it.
