Clinician-Led Assisted Living · Wasilla, Alaska

The Difference

Two residents. Two clinicians. One steady home.

Most homes divide their attention across many residents. We chose the opposite. By keeping the home to two people and leading it with clinical judgment, we can hold complexity that larger settings cannot.

I

A true small home

Only two residents, so care is never divided and no one is a room number.

II

Clinician-led

Two mental-health clinicians read mood, memory, and behavior with a trained eye and adapt the plan as the person changes.

III

Genuine 1:1 and 2:1 care

We are staffed for dedicated one-to-one and two-to-one support, awake around the clock, when a resident needs it.

The Category We Fill

The bridge between institutional care and ordinary assisted living

Not everyone leaving a hospital, a psychiatric unit, or a higher level of care needs another institution. Many need a real home that can still hold complex needs. That step is missing in the Valley, and The Renaissance is built to be it.

Who We Serve

Built for complex placements

We support adults whose needs are more than an ordinary assisted living home is set up to hold, and who do best in the smallest, calmest setting.

A strong fit

  • Dementia with mood or behavioral complexity
  • Serious and persistent mental illness needing structure and supervision
  • Developmental disabilities with complex behavioral support needs
  • Residents needing dedicated 1:1 or 2:1 staffing
  • Hospital, API, or higher-level-of-care discharges with no safe placement

Not our setting

  • Continuous skilled nursing or a locked facility
  • Acute medical instability requiring hospital-level care
  • Anyone better served in a larger, activity-based community
